The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato has proven its worth multiple times, albeit more as a status symbol rather than an off-road-ish supercar. However, that doesn’t mean it cannot cope with the occasional thrashing off the beaten path, and multiple videos show it in action.
Nevertheless, this story is not about what the model can or cannot do, as it revolves around a tuning package that Vorsteiner just introduced. In plain modern-day tuning fashion, it’s all about carbon fiber and making this vehicle look a bit more exotic courtesy of the add-ons and other bits and pieces available on the company’s shelves.Vorsteiner’s proposal includes a set of new fender flares. These were made of the lightweight material mentioned above and will set you back $12,995 for the entire set. The American tuner (with a German name) also offers new aero fog lamp covers for the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, and it’s asking $2,495 for them.Multiple wheel options round off the aftermarket makeover, and they’re priced from over $12,000 per set to nearly $20,000. As a result, fitting everything you see here to your off-road-ish supercar will set you back around $35,000 or a bit less, depending on the alloys you’re interested in.Photo: Vorsteiner
We reckon Vorsteiner could have launched other carbon fiber attachments for the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato. Yet, although discreet and close to the OEM status, the pictured example surely stands out next to the stock ones. Chances are a Sterrato owner out there has seen these components and is looking to find out how they can add them to their jacked-up blue-blooded machine. A good starting point would be to search for the tuner’s name online and get in touch with them (just saying).Like all Huracan models, the Sterrato is completely sold out until the end of production. Lamborghini will cease making the V10 model at the end of the year, as it already introduced its successor. It’s called the Temerario and sits below the Revuelto flagship supercar. Like its larger and more expensive sibling, it is also a plug-in hybrid model, but instead of utilizing a naturally aspirated V12, it features a twin-turbocharged V8 with electric assistance. The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors develop a total of 789 hp (800 ps/588 kW) and 538 lb-ft (730 Nm) of torque. Lamborghini’s Temerario has a 213 mph (343 kph) top speed and zips from naught to sixty-two mph (100 kph) in 2.7 seconds. The Huracan Sterrato, whose 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 produces 601 hp (610 ps/449 kW) and 413 lb-ft (560 Nm), sprints to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and maxes out at around 160 mph (260 kph), which is a very tamed top speed to preserve the special rubber wrapped around the exclusive wheels.
